SOLVED
Rant time motherfuckers Aheeheeeee
So by your GENIUS logic, if some thread has already been abandoned for a month or so, you are not to post on it… ok then i have an input on a discussion, or an answer to one thats already “dead” So by your logic it shalt not see the forums ever? what are the alternatives…
make a thread refrencing to the dead thread… (dont see how that is any better since its exactly the fucking same thing +1 more thread.) Or make a duplicate thread wich is the same fucking thing again BUT is against the website rules and creates even MORE fucking clutter and useless threads. So feel free to enlighten me then what the fuck is one supposed to do?.
Also stop posting these giant ass fucking pictures all they doo is add more clutter to the website, here is news for ya ITS NOT AGAINST THE WEBSITE RULES.
My idea is, the most recently commented on post doesn’t go to the top of the list, and then we keep the newest posts on top and others free to comment on. This stops
it’s annoying and it brings a “dead” post to the top of the list.
I pretty much agree with pan and dico on this….if someone has something relevant to say on a subject they should be allowed to do so. to all the people who have been posting these dumb pictures or simply posting ^^ necropost or some such thing…you are breaking a forum rule by going off topic on the thread.
The only time I would discourage people “necroposting” is on threads marked solved….unless they specifically have some new information on the issue.
@PanFritz Personally, I find most replies to 1 month old dead thread are either total bullshit, irrelevant, not necessary or share some input no one gives a shit about.
I didn’t read all the replies and I won’t.

Thanks @PanFritz you made my day.

@yop_tropix the new line of staff now pushed it to 1 week… I will prefer your option, but i’m not the one to choose.
@NyxTheWolf “I will prefer your option”

Responding to an old thread if you have something valuable or relevant to say is important; it keeps people up to date on information that may affect them.
Reviving a thread to say “lol”, or to point out to staff that a thread needs to be locked is more of a nuisance than it is helpful, especially considering it now gets moved back to the top spot of the subforum.
