If i were to make a wooden sword or a wooden shovel, which one is cheaper in terms of raw materials? or which is cheaper in terms of whats left over? are the equaly valuable? Assume both tools are of equal value one they’re crafted. What now?

I can instantly answer the question of wooden sword and wooden shovel. A wooden shovel is cheaper because it only needs 1/2 of a wood log (2 sticks, 1 plank), while a wooden sword needs 5/8 of a wood log (1 stick, 2 planks).

To the others (Cheapest to get/make): Idk, Idk, Idk, Dirt as it’s more abundant, Water Bucket as it’s more abundent + u dont need to dig, Golden apple (if plain) because golden apples need 8 gold and 1 apple, while gold blocks need 9 gold. If you are after an enchanted golden apple though, it is cheaper to get a gold block as an enchanted golden apple needs 8 gold blocks.

Full Chain Armor is more valuable than Full Diamond Armor. An Emerald Block is more valuable than an Anvil. A Fish is more valuable than an Apple. A Log is more valuable than a Dirt block. A Lava bucket is more valuable than a Water Bucket. A Gold Block is more valuable than a Golden Apple.

@hackerthomas noone likes fishing. You get apples from cutting down trees.

@hackerthomas well, on a technical level, the only way to get is from fishing or trading, if I recall correctly.

Both fishing and breaking leaves takes work. Water for fishing is infinite and so are leaving for breaking. How ever it is a lot quicker to make a place to fish from than to grow a tree. But my main point was based off how receiving something while fishing is a higher probability than getting an apple drop. I’m not sure though on that, because enchantments come into play and get confusing.

Well a block of dirt can do so much more than a log ever could, with a block of dirt you can grow infinate more logs, and besides dirt makes better houses than logs

Well theyboth share 8 gold ingots so it kind if comes down to wether an apple ir a bar of gold is more valuble. An apple is a pretty rare drop from leaves, bt gold is also not so common while mining.

You get about 1 Apple per Oak tree. Fishing can take 1 hour if unlucky.

An Iron Farm takes more time to make than a Gold Farm.

A Witch Hut is not as rare as an End Portal.

A Mesa Biome is much rarer (I think) than Swamp Biomes. You also get Hardened Clay from Mesas, people buy that stuff for Diamonds.

A Stack of Ghast Tear is much harder in my opinion to get than a Stack of Diamonds. Diamonds are damn easy to find if you mine properly.
