I was at HikkMC’s plot, as was most of the people on the server, and then I was firing snowballs into the air. They labeled this as entity spam, even though it was fired once(or twice) per 3 seconds. Can someone tell me if this is REALLY entity spam?

What I have done wrong

I don’t really know what I did wrong, but apparently spam is 3-5 snowballs per 9 seconds :P

Why I should be unbanned / re-promoted

Why? For the glory of Satan of course! I’m kidding. Seriously though, is that even spam?

Also, I only did it one time. Meaning that, I only did it for 9 seconds.

Also, when I got back on, I found out Barry tbanned me.

Me and arhur kicked multiple people for spamming snowballs and arrows and we gave a lot of warnings. After about 5 mins of this, I said “Next person to spam entities gets a 5m tempban”. You decided that you were going to to just that, you I gave you the punishment you deserved. I tempbanned two other people for this reason as well; yet they didn’t complain. You also said that you hadn’t been kicked, which was lucky for you that we hadn’t seen you do it. I think that in the future you should perhaps listen to staff and stop when they ask you to stop.

Why compare me to other people? If I have a problem, I take it to the forums, we solve it here. No need to try and belittle me like that.

Wrong. I said I did get kicked, but from different reasons. Please, don’t lie, I’ll just ask someone to get the logs and show you.

I do listen, mate. I stopped spamming snowballs. If there were to be a target on Ollie’s plot, and I kept shooting it with arrows, would that be spam. Plus, when I fired the snowballs, I fired them at a direct point, not just mindlessly in the air.

Sigh, did you even see the comparisons I made in my recent reply? I told you, I fired it at a direct point, and I did it at a low rate of time. That kind of spam is easily tolerated by other staff members, since it was such a short time. No need to tempbanned me. I already called you out on two of your lies, which you decided to avoid.

I nominate this post to be closed or solved, since I was already told by certain trainers that I should stop bothering people about it, which I wasn’t.

OK so it seems to me from what has been said here that the staff were having issues with a lot of people firing arrows and snowballs at the same time. You yourself gumsie testified that most of the server was there. One person alone doing this wouldn’t really be a problem but with multiple people doing the same thing I can absolutely understand staff stepping in and asking people to stop. @ImpressedYou I think you should have heeded the warnings staff gave and not pushed your luck by shooting or throwing anything at that time. Not doing so showed a lack of respect toward staff and not using common sense, both of which are also rule breaks. I think a 5 minute ban is reasonable in this situation.
