PHP mc Status Checker

Hi, i’m searching for a minecraft server status checker in PHP (just the code, not an API). I found a lot of them on internet, but they’re not working correctly (eu.mineplex.com:25565 works, but not redstoner.com:25565) and I would like the server checker to provide the number of players online, maximum of players and something that I’ve never found, the player list of the server, on the connexion icon.

Here is the code I found. I’m not very familiar with PHP sockets :(
