Locking threads

So, the idea seems simple, the user making a post, should in my opinion be able to lock that, instead of only staff members.

Everyone can set a lable, but not lock their threads if they want to.

If anyone has a good argument against this, tell me, I don’t know any.

I would +1 this only if only staff thread locks cannot be changed by the poster.

That could infact be a problem, but why even give the permission to unlock a thread? Because if you close it, you probably dont want to open it again.
