(I’m getting more RAM [Random Access Memory, I’ll be back on tomorrow. 4GB - 8GB + Windows 10 and GPU Upgrade])

i5 Quad core 14 GB Ram, (4 slots, 3 slots have 2GB RAM, and 1 Has 8GB) Nvidia GTX 750 TI SC Acer and Sharp monitors

:P RIP ME My PC is bullshit

AMD RADEON 6320 HD Graphics 4GB RAM LENOVO Windows 8 500GB Storage

Buuut I’m getting it upgraded so I’ll have

8GB RAM AMD R7 SERIES RADEON

Welll SHAT

My motherboard is old so ;_; I cant get a better GPU

NVidia 660M I7-something Windows 10 4gb of ram, soon to be 8 750GB hdd storage

What a craptop.

Windows 10 = Bullshit messes up PC Graphics n shit

What a craptop.

i3 processor “6” GB RAM Windows 8 (am refusing to get 10) Some crap graphics card (crappy enough to get avg 20 fps with 2 chunks render distance) 500GB hdd with 500GB hdd backup (both about 90% full)

Don’t ask about specifics as not with craptop right now. Also, that 6GB RAM is in quotes as it behaves like it only has 1GB RAM.

I think that’s more of a craptop Zetta.

What sucks about mine is the guys doing the upgrade for my PC are upgrading it to 10 F M L ;^;
@Ralp in your case, get Windows 10 Unless your driver can’t be updated; Windows 10 is more secure than Windows 8 is, and that’s a fact.
That’s what happened to my old PC I get win 10 then I can’t update the drivers
@Nyxis Thanks, but I might just wait until I get a new computer/laptop to get windows 10.
My pc is done now Ill be on like 5:00 UK time
@ralp I found a $408 USD laptop on amazon with an i5-5200U 4GB ram and 500GB hard drive which looks fucking wicked by asus, tell me if you want link

or just watch my Build Log! (Subscribe!)

@ScienceRedstone ooh nice specs, really.

Anyway parents didn’t let me build an own computer (insert sadface), not because they didn’t trust me or anything, but just general other shit. Anyway, they were the one paying, so I guess they have themselves to blame for spending way more money than needed? Not trying to sound spoiled or anything, but that’s how it is so yea lol…

Anyway specs: CPU: i7 6700 GPU: GTX 970 RAM: 2x8GB DDR3L RAM (not DDR4 :C) PSU: Not entirely sure what wattage, between 500-600, but it’s 80+ Bronze certified so somewhat reliable for being prebuilt I guess? lol. Motherboard: Shit SSD: 128 Intel SSD HDD: 1tb some brand. OS: Win10 (came with computer).

So yea, works for everything I’d ever need. i7 and 16gb RAM good for content creation (mainly useful for video editing iirc?) too which I’m getting more and more interested in lel.

Lmao I’m stuck with a i5

i3 dual core

4 gb ram

400 gb HDD

Sorry for the necropost, but @ScienceRedstone

Why is your CPU cooler facing up? And also, you could have routed your 4/8pin CPU power cable behind the motherboard tray c:

@ABakedCookie The CPU cooler is faced up so it can use external, cooler air. If it was facing down, the fan would intake hot GPU air. :P Also, the CPU power cable isn’t long enough and I’m too lazy to get an extension ;-;

@ABakedCookie this ain’t a necropost though :P You’re adding onto the topic so it’s fine :)

Science, the CPU fan wouldn’t intake hot gpu air as the gpu air out ain’t on the back of the pcb but on the side/top of it (with the pcie plug being “down”). The power cable you could have at least put below the GPU, that’s how I routed my brothers wires :P

Hopefully this isn’t necroposting, but I got a HD upgrade to my acer aspire r11 laptop: now it’s 500gb 7200rpm silent vs my old 500gb 5400rpm crackly stock HDD since I burned that out Cheers

-c2l

An HD upgrade? I mean HDD upgrade

Don’t ever shorten links and post them.
I’m waiting for acer’s new budget gameing laptop to leave CES2017. Its a 800 € laptop with full hd screen, 8gb ram, i7 kaby lake cpu, gtx 350m, 512gb ssd.

Just got a new one

CPU: i7-6700 Motherboard: Asus B-150 Plus RAM: 16GB 2133mhz CPU Cooler: CoolerMaster Hyper T2 GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 PSU: 630W Thermaltake HDD: 500GB SSD Secondary: 1TB WD Blue

I really am wondering why a lot of people here have overpowered computers. KP’s, Logi’s, and Redsheep’s I get (If they are, which comes to no surprise if they are) But other people with i7s (especially the skylake line) I don’t get?

Edit: also 1070s?!

@Nyxis what are @RedSheepMC his specs then?
just a fucking normal macbook air xD
Better than what I got :shrug:

nevermind, you already told me that.

Turns out I’m stupid.

also I think logi kp and me all have a mac, turns out mac’s good doesn’t it?

mac’s good doesn’t it?

HAHAAA!!! nice one. Maybe theres a magical word, it is “budget”

Nah if you gotta watch the budget then this isn’t the thread for you. My setup is in here already though, but it’s a mis 2015 macbook pro 15" retina. Macs are great :3

#These are my current craptop specs:

CPU : Intel Core i3 3217U Dual-core with hyperthreading, 1.8 Ghz, Turbo Boost? What is that?

CPU Cooler: One word: LOUD But it does manage to keep the 17W BEAST that is the i3 3217U at only 50°C

Graphics Card : Nvidia GeForce GT720M Most OP card in the world of course, a bit of an improvement over the Intel HD 4000 graphics

Ram : 4GB of some 1600Mhz DDR3 SODIMM memory I might upgrade to 8GB someday

Motherboard : Crap

PSU : 2790MAH battery Does it count as a PSU? Nah

Case : It’s still a f%$&ing laptop The stickers are all getting loose though

SSD : NONE Only lucky kids get SSD’s

HDD : 400GB something Almost completely filled up

Operating System : Windows 8.1 I’m a pirate

I’m planning to get the 900€ Acer VX15 once it comes out this year: Processor: Intel i7 7th gen Ram: 16gb, upgradable to 32gb Storage: either 512gb ssd or 1tb hdd Battery: 50 something watt hours Graphics card: 1050 ti or smth like that

Its the definition of bang for your buck.

I would go for the SSD
Same @CookieRedstone since I already have a 1TB portable hard drive :)
Actually pretty good for 900 euro, 1080p gaming @~60fps. if the 1060 3gb or 6gb is available I’d suggest that though.
Specs? Eh i5-2400 gt 710 8gb ram and for the case. Some shitty prebuild pc where i just added some stuff
Why a GT 710 though, I’ve heard people get all hyped about the thing but what kind of card is a GT 710?
I get 60+ fps on overwatch… cant give u more info then that XD
CPU: i7 6700K @ 4.6 Ghz GPU: EVGA GTX 1070 Superclocked RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 @ 2666 Mhz Motherboard: Asus Z170 Sabertooth S CPU Cooler: Corsair H110i GT PSU: EVGA Supernova 750 G2 Case: NZXT S340 Elite Matte Black

Possible new pc I’m getting https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/computers/amd-fm2-richland/ Specs: AMD Athlon X4 880k quad core 4.0ghz Gigabyte something motherboard 8GB Corsair RAM 1600mhz… :/ New 4GB Radeon 550 RX 1TB HDD 450W power supply and other stuff

£620, not so bad.

I5-6400 Gtx 970 4gb 8gb ddr4 ram 1tb hdd

Computer: Acer Aspire E15 laptop CPU: Intel i5-7200U @ 2.5 GHz, Turbo to 3.1 GHz GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 940MX w/ 2 GB Video RAM RAM: 12 GB DDR4 Storage: 1TB HDD

Must ask @King_WilliamB, why d’you have two PCs?
Because, my main one used to by my homeschool computer and my second one used to be my main computer. After homeschool ended, I barrely touched my homeschool. I then got a GeForce GTX 1080 for X-mas and since my main computer (now secondary) couldn’t fit the GeForce GTX 1080, I had to switch over to the computer that I have now.

My new Desktop specs: Ryzen 5 1500x (yeboi team red) GTX 1060 6gb (EVGA SSC) 16GB of ram MSI Mate pro B350 mobo 128 gb ssd (sad ikr) Corsair VS450 psu (budget is low) Corsair SPEC-04 (cheapass case)

Yeh, much more powerful than my laptop. FullyReboot.

Wow you upgraded, now my craptop…
I got a 650 ThermalTake PSU (because my TR2 died) Also installed a Radeon H5770 because
Specs: Intel i7 5600U @ 2.60 Ghz Intel HD Graphics 5500 8 DDR3L Ram I will not continue, tho you can check everything else about my laptop: HP Elitebook Folio G2 1040 (Google it)
@WebyRedstone wtf only ddr3 and 5th gen? Is that’s a refurb?
AMD FX6300 Six Core 3.50GHz 16G Ram 64Bit

So I’m upgrading my Main Computer so I’m moving the old parts that I’m replacing to my secondary one. I also got a laptop. Because of all this, I thought I would put this updated list.

Main Computer: Custom Built Desktop CPU: Intel Core i7-8700K @ 3.70GHz GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 RAM: 32GB Storage: 1TB
