Minor PC problems :/

Off topicElectronics → Minor PC problems :/

I’m so sorry for breaking the cycle!

I need a little bit of assistance because today, I attempted to ugrade to the WIndows 10 Annerversary update but when upgrading, my PC (ASUS) started producing weird sounds with the fans; it sounds like a grinding machine. Any possible solutions to help me through this pain? If there is a solution without transporting it to a shop, please inform me and I will attempt your solution Why am I using so many weird words? (I left it idle for around 30 ministers and from time to time, it made short, quiet grinding sounds but they faded away, any cause for concern?) I got a lot of stuff to do on by the way. -H5 (HardDerpin’) Wow, haven’t used H5 for a while :/

First off, do you have backups?

nvm your OS is fine, just your fans ^right?

Check whether it’s your fans ramping up in speed for some reason or physical damage to your fans - you can use something like SpeedFan to monitor system load, temps, and fans, as well as adjust the fan speeds yourself.

Solution: get linux. I’m sorry but you’re fucked otherwise.
I have actually tried duelbooting with Zorin OS 11. Everything went wrong so no.
no. don’t dualboot, install it propperly.

it’s okay guys, it is getting repaired in store :/ lol

@psrcek @LogalCoder I don’t trust Linux so I won’t install it (I don’t have my computer with me now.)

#The cause The fan was loose. The fan went crazy and produced a bit of smoke in store! #Returning time It will be back in one or more weeks (I hope one week)

PS: R.I.P my OS collection ._.

Also, why do you have to bring it to a store to fix only one fan? It doesn’t make much sense

I don’t trust Linux

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I’m not the biggest Linux fan, but I still trust it more than windows.
