Actually, quite a lot of people are hating on non-seamless doors.
Sometimes I don’t like them too, but the point of this request is that it doesn’t change anything if a door is seamless or not, as it’s always a door, of a different type but always a door, but quite a lot of people^( as you said) on the community seems to don’t understand that :)
