Type of ban / demotion
A permanent ban that has been in place since what, March of 2017? About a year and a bit ago.
Ban/Demotion reason
Reason you were told or message shown when you’re disconnected from the server I was banned from redstoner for advertising, and a screenshot can be found here
What I have done wrong
Now, it’s been a while since those events have taken place, and I am unsure of the full story, but I can recall that I had already had a lot of warnings on my name, and I had asked someone if they wanted to work on redstone with me. They had accepted it, and it just so happened that I had direct messaged them in the game just after an administrator / moderator / I cannot remember had joined. I had left to join the server the friend and I were going to work on. Afterwards, I cannot remember who, but a administrator had joined my server to tell me I had a ban administered on my account for “advertising”. Now, at the time, my disrespectful attitude towards the server’s team had an influence on my actions, and instead of calmly explaining the situation to the administrator, I took the wrong route and had started cursing at him. Looking back, I realise how unnecessarily rude I was. Shortly after, I banned him from the server, and I recall being in contact with the other moderators, but I am unsure as to how. I was obviously upset, my freshly turned 12 (definitely not an excuse, and I accept that) self being extremely salty and rude towards the other moderators / administrators. I even recall making threats the next day doing something with the ip of the administrator who originally joined, luckily I didn’t know how to do anything with ip addresses, and luckily the administrator had changed his address by then.
Why I should be unbanned / re-promoted
Now, I cannot remember what I have done due to how long it has been since the past events, and it’s sure as hell not an accident whatever I did. But, I am appealing this ban because I was not advertising in a sense where I attempt to make my server popular, but rather, I had asked if anyone wanted to help me out with some redstoning, and I suggested that I make a server for only one or two people to join to help me out or to create whatever they wish (with my permission of course). I had done no open advertising, which is why I am appealing this ban.
Now, for my past actions. I had a lot of warnings on my back then. I cannot recall why they were there, but I do recall them being quite the uh, rude and disrespectful of nature. I take full ownership of these actions made then, and I want to put this completely behind us. Another reason why I feel I should be unbanned, is that, although the ban was put in place as a permanent ban, it’s been a while, and I finally have realised how bad my actions really were (from what I remember.) I want to show my changes and be an overall better person.

Also, if it’s true that the IP was sent in a /msg to someone who wanted it, it’s not exactly advertising.

I then went to check if the IP he distributed actually worked, which it did. Lul. Also I wasn’t even using a vpn lmfao

Why the fuck is this locked who goes around locking all threads o.O
Anyway after he spammed me all night and then blocked me on discord before I could respond, here‘s the reasoning:
You announced in chat that you had a server, and when people then asked you for the IP you dm‘ed them. That is advertising. You managed to rack up 135 chat offences within four days. That‘s actually quite impressive tbh.
Anyway you can appeal a chat related ban after two years, or, if it was unjust, at any time ofc :)
