/i 43:8 doesnt work

hey there, its not possible to get an upside down halfslab. wether its stone or quartz or whatsoever.
the game tells me that i got a slab when i type /i 43:8 but i havent got anything in my inventory.
doing /i 43:8 would normally get you the full block version of the stone half slab but try /i 44:8 or /i stone_slab:8
@KotovSyndrom those blocks are unfortunatly unobtainable in 1.8 IIRC.

but you can use world edit or some terrain editting tool/command to spawn them in/use them
yeah i meant 44:8 sorry :3
But what about:
- Open a new world in singel player (1.7)
- Cheat one in
- Put the slab in a Chest
- Go into MCedit and copy the Chest (with NBT-data)
- Paste it into the redstoner server world
- Make a kit with it! Or any form of copying via a command that everyone can use
- Done!
